Bert Campbell lives in Tucson, AZ and calls his music "southwestern rock and roll." Having grown up in Atlanta, GA he was influenced by all the 60's R&B acts along with the Beatles, Santana, and the Allman Brothers. He transferred his junior college year to NAU in Flagstaff, AZ and started playing in rock and country bands right after graduation.
Living along the border Bert also became intrigued by local mariachi bands. The CD Mananaland is a combination of many of his former and present music influences. Based out of the beautiful red rock country of Sedona and Oak Creek Canyon, he performs regularly in The Toucan Eddy Band. A vibrant performer, Bert puts his "heart and soul" into his songwriting, entertaining and recording.
Bert spent 10 years in Nashville writing and managing an artist. Recently, Bert became a junior high science teacher and has been a partner in a musical instrument accessory factory for the past 7 years. His true love in life will always remain to be music.
